Whitney Swander is the owner and a Doctor of Audiology at Hearing HealthCare Centers, a practice serving Boulder, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Loveland, Colorado, since 1984.
Whitney Swander has built her entire audiology career at Hearing HealthCare Centers. She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1998, followed by a master's degree in Audiology in 2000. That same year, in May 2000, she began practicing at Hearing HealthCare Centers, which was then owned by its founder, Jim Boggess.

In 2008, she acquired the practice's Boulder and Longmont offices. Under her ownership, the organization expanded to eight locations along the Front Range. She closed one office in 2020 and sold three more in 2024 to focus on strengthening care and services at the offices she kept. She continues to lead the practice on the conviction that hearing care should help patients live better and stay fully engaged, with the aim that every person who comes through the door feels welcomed, cared for, and confident in the process.
Her contributions to the profession have earned national recognition. The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) presented her with the Leo Doerfler Award in 2022, the organization's most prestigious honor, which recognizes an audiologist for outstanding clinical service and leadership across a career. BizWest magazine named her a Notable Woman in Health Care. In 2024, she served on the Board of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.
Beyond the clinic, she has traveled on multiple mission trips to Africa with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to fit hearing aids for people in need, and she serves on her church's Financial Board. At home, she enjoys gardening and cooking and spends time with her husband, Jeff, and their two rescued beagles, Maddie and Marley.
